Homeschool Tracker would be wonderful! Like you I homeschool (albeit one), manage 2 business' (my husbands online & retail store, and manage a singer/songwriter), and somewhere in there find time to run a homestead house. Homeschool Tracker Plus is a saving grace for me. Last year I put all the Ancients level 1 lessons in blocks and brought them forward as needed for the week. I loved it. This year I purchased Middle Ages level 1 E-Book. Awsome concept! Keep up the great work.

I am REALLY hoping that a Level 2 science course will be ready by Summer/Fall 2009, because I will have to look elsewhere for science if something isn't. We are using the Earth Science Level 1 this year, and we love the labs, but I am having to supplement the reading with more books because there just isn't really enough there for my boys. I have fraternal twin boys that are 10 years old and love science.

Hey there- this is a flashback from your past- I am Kathleen Nuce's little sister and I volunteered with you at the nursing home. Wow time has flown by- huh? I am wondering if you could point me in the right direction. I am interested in homeschooling or schooling at home and unfortunately the program I wanted to follow with my daughter (who will be entering 1st grade) may no longer be available (Florida Connections Academy). This program is structured and monitored and is exactly what I wanted to follow. Do you know of any other complete curriculum program out there that is not entirely to expensive?? I hope you don't mind me contacing you and I understand that you may not have time to answer my questions- I have 3 kids so I really understand the time crunch!! I really am amazed how you work from home and homeschool too!! YOU ROCK!! Thanks for any advice!

Hi Kristina,
I don't attend fairs right now because I only sell print editions wholesale. But I think Rainbow Resources is scheduled to be there. You may want to contact them and ask them to bring the Pandia Press courses you want to see. They don't always bring everything.

I found your REAL science curriculum just today and I am very excited to get so see it. I wondered if you planned to attend any homeschool fairs to be able to see your work? There is a large homeschool fair coming up in Atlanta in July and I was hoping to see your name as a vendor. Any chance you might be there?

I hear you. I definitely have to separate my time. I have found that I can't multi task when it comes to doing something with the kids and working on the computer at the same time. I just end up yelling a lot.
I have found that I have to separate things. I only do email during the day and school in the morning to lunch time. The kids go to bed or have quite time in their rooms starting at 8:00. This allows me a few hours of focused time from about 8:00 to 10:30 or11:00 on the computer. Then of course whatever I can do on the weekends.
I find I get more done this way. I personally can accomplish more if I focus on one task at a time. It seems like I get nothing done (although I now this isn't true) if I multi task work with something else.
Don't get me wrong I do multi task house work and schooling among other things. I just TRY not to mix work with anything else. It really is a tricky, delicate balance!

I LOVE eBooks! I love being able to download them right away, I love being able to print out pages for each boy (I have twins), I love having them online so there is one less book to keep track of, and I love saving money not paying for publication costs. Just my 2 cents' worth!

Looks great. I'm looking forward to using it next year. I don't see updates on the next Level III (Early Modern). What is the status of that?

Thanks!!!

Wow! Finally, a homeschooler who, like me, thinks we should be able to deduct our homeschooling expenses. I'd be happy if at least we could have our property taxes reduced by the part that would normally go to the public schools. We own four houses in four different states, including Florida, and homeschool our kids. We pay from $1400 to $3500 in property taxes per house. If I could keep the taxes from one house, I could get everything on my homeschool wishlist every year.

As a tangent to the secret shopper, there are persons who "shop" apartments, realty companies, etc. in order to make sure they are in compliance with the Fair Housing Act. You attend a training seminar (for which you are paid), then get paid for each job you do. It requires prompt attention to the assignment, and filling out a standard form. A typical job pays $40.
